What Dobbes Does...

A few seconds after birth:

• wailed
• reached for Bobbes' face with bloodied arms
• smiled
• suckled expertly at Bobbes' left breast

Day Two:

• cried when he pooped for the first time
• slept like a log
• woke up and smiled for visitors

Day Three:

• wore his own steez
• hibernated
• sleeps with Bobbes on the couch for three hours
  
• hated being bathed
• peed in an arc over Bobbes' left shoulder
• begins night feeding
  

Day Four:

• suckled like an expert in different positions (cradle; cross-cradle; football; lying down)
• made faces when awake and asleep, especially when poo-ing
• can hold own head up for a few seconds
• had first bath at home and cried through it
• lets Bobbes and Mobbes have a long sleep at night
  

Day Five:

• took his first billirubin test and BCG; cried a little but stopped promptly when returned to Mobbes
• ate voraciously
• sat in the sun
• greeted new helper who can cook and clean beautifully!
  

Day Six:

• regained his birth weight
• took second billirubin test; hugged Mr. Bear for comfort
  
• went to IKEA
• slept with a nightlight

Day Seven:

• received visitors at home
• charmed them

Day Eight:

• third billirubin test, oh my!
• continues demand eating
• sits in the park again
• clears up Jaundice!

Day Nine:

• hangs out with Mobbes in front of telly
• is determined to produce as many soiled and wet diapers for Mobbes to clean up
• inspires a frenzy of cleaning
  

Day Ten:

• suddenly seems very much bigger to both Mobbes and Bobbes; tolerates their cooing

Day Eleven:

• receives more visitors and presents including 3 nifty new swaddles and an OSIM uPure for the kitchen sink!
